Our rocking horses are constructed using native hardwoods, beech and
birch. Cut, kiln dried and cured from the same managed forest for over
50 years. The foundation, bows hardwood frame are measured, cut, and
assembled by skilled woodworkers in a friendly environment. All
construction takes place on the same
premise. Each board for the frame, face and rocker is hand made. Wood
excelsior is used for the basic shape. Then the horse is measured, fit
and covered with individual synthetic hide covering. The mane and tail
sewn in for years of brushing in mind. Each step is completed by hand,
individually wrapped, fully assembled and put in a individual shipping
carton. The hardwood frame is very sturdy, will support 250 lb and
designed for long term use by children. The first rocking horse
originated from Texas and now produced in Poland. All production is 9001
certified for safety, quality and standards. Each horse is a wooden body
covered with a plush synthetic hide, solid wooden mouth, gentle eyes,
fluffy mane and tail. Each horse offers many memorable rides and
journeys.
