Canvas Horses are for Artist to enhance and complete as art with a "finish", including leather tooling, woodwork, paint on canvas and accessories  They sell finished for $1,0000 - $5,500 and up, depending on artist. The interior of the horse is wood, covered in canvas (suitable for artwork). Some of the horses have clear coat or black color and natural stain wood finish on nose and rocker. You can modify any combination.

These canvas horses are not suitable for daily use as they are. The hide is natural artist canvas. The horse is covered in 100% canvas and intended to be painted. See: http://www.gopaintedponies.com/

I just placed an order for a XL canvas rocker and goofed on the comments section (read I didn’t add any) hope this email doesn’t cause any confusion on my order. But here goes----- customizing the canvas horse into a Clydesdale. I DO want your company to put on the feather –would it be possible to make the LEFT foreleg in black wig hair as this particular Clyde had that peculiarity; the other 3 legs were the traditional white (wig) hair. The cotton mane & tail are fine. “Sally” (aka Gypsy) will be going to a Home vs. a Commercial Address, Deborah A Harris

You are an artist with a vision and special idea / gift; for a special person. I think you will like the finished horse (great idea for a special person) if you have complete artistic control over the horse. For the feathers, I suggest you skip “wig hair” and use “mop hair” you can fashion this in a color and way in keeping with the total design. I don’t like the idea of mixed hair type and am sure you will agree. Feathers (secured by a Velcro band / sewn on / glued / leg wrap), you can find several  cotton mops and cut / color the hair. The horse is all natural, cotton, wood, unfinished leather. The nylon wig hair is going to look foreign / out of place and beg to ask, “whose idea was this?”. Jerry

After doing some prelim. work up, sketches etc.. I DO think you are right on the money. Shall we say that "Sally-to-be" comes here bare legged & I will ,as you said, follow my vision of how she will look. I am very excited by the whole idea.
Btw--This was the "Real" Sally. Thank You so very much for taking the time  to write the follow up message, it gave me much food for thought & helped to clarify my thoughts on this project. Deb Harris, Greyhavens Farms
